Our People: Keystone Q&A
David Rogers is Keystone’s new shipping manager. We recently sat down with Dave to learn more about who he is and what he does for the company.

Dave, what do you do at Keystone?
I am Keystone’s shipping manager (aka, Chief Stamp Licker and Envelope Stuffer):
- Assist planners in stock allocation for Sales Order priorities
(Juggles parts to balance stock and meet customer demands) - Coordinate with our shipping partners to find quality carriers
(Argues with trucking companies over prices and delivery times) - Overall supervisor of our AMAZING shipping team!!!!
(Keeps the peace, encourages, supports, and defends the best shipping team)
What's your background?
Tell us about something you’re working on right now:
What’s your favorite part of the job?
There is no one definite part. I appreciate my opportunity to be here. I like being a member of the shipping team and, honestly, the perks of being the manager, but I remember my humble beginnings on a daily basis. There’s never a day that goes by that I don’t learn or get to teach something. I have yet to leave work feeling our team did less than what was asked of them. There’s never a dull moment in the shipping business!
What is something non-work related we should know about you?
The FBI told me never to answer these kind of questions under the rules of WITSEC, they’re getting tired of moving me, lol😉… But seriously, I absolutely love Hawaii and the Ocean and surfing and concerts and painting and snorkeling and scary movies and Slim Jims and puppies and traveling…have I mentioned Hawaii yet????
