Meet the Team at Keystone: Pete Foster

Our People: Keystone Q&A

Pete Foster is a thread roll operator and has been at Keystone since August 2023. We recently sat down with Pete to learn more about who he is and what he does for the company.

Pete, what do you do here at Keystone?

I’m responsible for setting up and running the 840 Tesker. It’s known as the largest thread roller in the world. Keystone has rolled massive 15” diameter bars, though typical jobs are anywhere from 1½” to 5¼” in diameter.

What’s your background?

I worked at SPS Technologies for about 24 years, first in the Philadelphia area (where I’m from) then in Cleveland when they moved my division here. I programmed, set up and ran CNC machines for automotive parts.

Tell us about something you’re working on for Keystone right now:

I’m rolling 4 – 2 x 24 rods.

What’s your favorite part of the job at Keystone?

I like the people who work here.

What’s something non-work related that we should know about you?

I spend my time working out, fishing, and watching football. I once met Joe Thomas at the Brown’s training camp!
